Apple acknowledged MacBook discoloration and MacBook Pro whining sound

Apple now finally acknowledged that some MacBook units (serial numbers matching regular expression 4H6[12]7.*) could be discolored very soon after regular use. They also acknowledged or at least mention whining sound problem of some MacBook Pro units (although I have never seen so short article from their side ;-). Although it may look like negative to Apple, I like this policy - now Apple's customers are not in hazard when buying new notebook and do not have to ask the question: will it be good?

So now I only expect them to announce using new Intel Core 2 Duo chip in the next revision of MacBook Pro on WWDC in August.
